  13. Tracker is a Microsoft Access database analyzer designed to 
  14. help you create applications that are free of errors, 
  15. omissions, and inconsistencies.

  17. Tracker analyzes and documents tables, queries, forms,
  18. reports, macros, and modules. Tracker doesn't just give you
  19. a raw data dump. Tracker shows you summaries carefully
  20. designed to make problems stand out.

  22. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  28. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  29.  
  30. Step 1: Exit all current Microsoft Access sessions.
  31.  
  32. Step 2: Copy the files TRACKER.MDA and TRACKER.HLP into a
  33.         directory on your hard disk.
  34.         Suggested location:   C:\TRACKER
  35.  
  36. Step 3: Edit the file MSACCESS.INI located in the WINDOWS
  37.         directory.
  38.  
  39.         Locate the [Libraries] section and insert the line:

  41.            C:\TRACKER\TRACKER.MDA=ro
  42.  
  43.         Locate the [Menu Add-Ins] section and insert the line:
  44.  
  45.            &Tracker==Tracker()
  46.  
  47.         Note: If your MSACCESS.INI file does not contain a
  48.         [Menu Add-Ins] section you will need to create it.
  49.         When finished, your changes to the file should look
  50.         something like this:

  53.           C:\TRACKER\TRACKER.MDA=ro

  55.           [Menu Add-Ins]
  56.           &Tracker==Tracker()

  58. OPTIONAL INSTALLATION STEP
  59.  
  60. If you wish to view ownership and permission data when using 
  61. Tracker, you will need to have read access to the system 
  62. tables MSysAccounts and MSysGroups located in your current 
  63. workgroup (SYSTEM.MDA) file.
  64.  
  65. To acquire read access, you or your database administrator 
  66. will need to directly open the SYSTEM.MDA file using Access 
  67. and alter your permissions from the Security menu.
  68.  
  69. Note: To change the permission settings of MSysAcounts and 
  70. MSysGroups, you must first make system objects visible. 
  71. Select the View menu and choose Options.

  75. Start Microsoft Access and open any database.

  77. To inspect a table, open the table in Design View and then
  78. select Tracker from the Help menu. All other types of
  79. objects can be inspected in the same way.
